ION EXCHANGE DEMINERALIZATION SYSTEM
It’s a chemical process based on the capacity of synthetic resins to fix cations and anions, by releasing “demineralised” water.
That technology is based on chemical properties that characterize the ion exchange resins, synthetic origin polymeric roots. Those resins are supplied with active functional groups, clung to the roots, able to exchange their moving ions with ions having the same charge contained in the solutions with which they get in touch. Practically, they keep the salts dissolved and allow a partial or total purification of diluted or concentrate effluents.
